Free Seminars for Rural Businesses
Small rural based businesses in Neath Port Talbot are being invited to take advantage of a series of free seminars.
Organised by Neath Port Talbot Council and Business Connect, the events are aimed at businesses that employ less than 10 people and will offer expert advice on two key topics.
The ‘Grow Your Business’ Seminars will provide essential information on how to expand a business during the current economic climate. Businesses are invited to indicate their area of interest beforehand so that content can be tailored to suit their circumstances.
The internet can provide a successful and cost effective solution to promoting a business and building a brand online. The ‘Internet Marketing’ Seminars will focus on how to get the best results from online activity.
The seminars will also give businesses an insight into the wide range of support that they can access via the Enterprise Support for Rural Businesses Project which is funded by the Rural Development Plan.
Councillor Leader Ali Thomas, said:
“The Council is committed to supporting businesses in Neath Port Talbot. We are pleased to be working with Business Connect to offer these free seminars which will help to equip small, rural businesses with the knowledge and skills they need to be more robust and competitive in this challenging climate.”
The next seminars will take place on Monday 16th April at Glynneath Training Centre and Monday 11th June at Sandfields Young Business Centre.
