Local Business Brains in Talks with Council
Neath Port Talbot's Business Services team recently had the
opportunity to speak to businesses from across Swansea Bay about
the support that the Council provides to local businesses.

Invited by the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB), the meeting
was held at The Castle Hotel in Neath.
Responding to the concerns of small business is a key part of
the work of the Business Services team.
During discussions, advisors responded to enquiries from
individuals about setting up a new business, and to business owners
on where to access training and funding, as well as website
development.
Council Leader Ali Thomas said, "I am committed to ensuring the
council is doing all it can to support local entrepreneurs and
business owners. Small businesses are the backbone of our economy,
providing jobs and services for our local communities, they need
our help more than ever during these tough times".
Among the local businesses attending were Trellis Confectionery,
Resolve Holistic Therapy, BFL Electrical and Energy International
Systems Ltd.
