Trained advisors in the Workplace Health Team at Public Health Wales offer practical support and advice to help employers create a healthier working environment and promote wellbeing activities. The advice and support is entirely FREE and confidential to businesses in all sectors and of all sizes in Wales.

The statistics related to health at work speak for themselves:

In Wales:  the average time lost from work per case of stress, depression or anxiety is 27 days and for back related pain is 15 days. This type of sickness absence can seriously affect your organisational success!

To help businesses improve the health and wellbeing of their workforce Public Health Wales is promoting FREE sign up to the Small Workplace Health Award - for organisations of up to 50 employees.  The award celebrates organisations that address the safety, health and wellbeing of their employees.  There are three categories of award, bronze, silver and gold, with specific criteria to meet to gain the award.
