Carbon Trust Event

Free Energy saving advice for NPT Businesses

Local businesses are being invited to an Energy Efficient Breakfast Seminar with the Carbon Trust.

Neath Port Talbot Council, in conjunction with the Carbon Trust, are hosting the free Energy Management Training Workshop, to help local businesses become more energy efficient.

The seminar, which is being held at the Aberavon Beach Hotel on Thursday February 21st, aims to encourage businesses to become more energy efficient which in turn could help drive down their over head costs.

Specialists will be on hand to advise on how to monitor and manage your organisation’s energy use, identify and implement energy reduction opportunities and identify and implement further energy saving opportunities.

The event also gives business leaders the opportunity to forge links with other companies in the County Borough.

Neath Port Talbot Council leader Ali Thomas said: “Becoming more energy efficient not only saves businesses money but it also has a positive impact on Neath Port Talbot’s carbon footprint. I would urge local business leaders to take this opportunity and see how the specialist advisors can help their specific needs.”

The event starts at 8.30am with breakfast, the training session beginning at 9am and finishing at 11am.
