Business accreditation

Business achieves accreditation through council support

Port Talbot based business Tech-Wales Ltd has has received the CompTIA IT Business Trustmark for its use of industry-accepted best practices of quality IT service delivery.

With the support of Jobs Growth Wales through Neath Port Talbot Council’s Skills and Training Unit, attaining this accreditation was made possible. Having the additional resources meant more time could be spent developing the correct business processes, in order to qualify for the accreditation.

The new CompTIA IT Business Trustmark identifies companies that have pledged to follow a robust code of practices that meet or exceed the industry standard level of customer service. The Trustmark shows that accredited companies meet industry-agreed standards in areas such as data security practices, staff competencies and holding of adequate insurance.

“This credential identifies Tech-Wales Ltd as an IT service provider that’s demonstrated a high level of competency through their use of prescribed industry best practices and processes.” said Todd Thibodeaux, president and chief executive officer, CompTIA.
