Building Skills

Building the Skills for the Future

Workers are being offered the change to access free training to improve and develop their Essential Skills thanks to a major funding boost within Neath Port Talbot through the Regional Essential Skills for the Workforce Project.  The project is part funded by the Convergence European Social Fund programme for West Wales & the Valleys 2007-2013 through the Welsh Government.

Free courses are being offered to enable individuals to develop their Communication & Literacy, Application of Number & Numeracy and ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) skills and grow these essential skills that are needed to make Work & Life bloom!

All courses are City & Guilds accredited and will be delivered by qualified NPT College Tutors. The use of ICT in the sessions is optional.

Course provision times are flexible to fit in with your work day and learning can be tailored to fit and match you work role and need.

All courses resources are provided free and courses are held at suitable community venues for ease of access.

If you want to develop new skills, process in work and help your children with their learning, then together we can build the essential foundations you need for Work and Life!
