New Skills for the New Year!

Do you want New Skills for the New Year? A host of free new courses will shortly be starting the week commencing Monday 13th January 2014 at venues throughout Neath Port Talbot.

A range of courses such as Communicating with Customers, Maths or English, Maths and English will help individuals and businesses to brush up and develop their communication, English and maths skills. The courses will run for 10 weeks for 2 hours per week.

Improve your own communication, maths or English skills and get that promotion in work or change your job. Enable your businesses to go from strength to strength. Be able to help your children with their maths or English schoolwork/homework. Pick up hints & tips that will help you master these subjects.

Learners will gain new skills and gain a qualification up to Level 2. Tutors from NPTC Group (formerly NPT College and Coleg Powys) will be delivering this learning provision.

To access this free training learners will have to be aged 16 years +, be employed or self-employed on a full-time or part-time basis even if it is for a half an hour a week.

The training is funded by the South West Wales Regional Learning Partnership’s ‘Regional Essential Skills for the Workforce Project’ by the Neath Port Talbot Adult Learning Network. The project is part funded by the convergence European Social Fund Programme for West Wales & the Valleys 2007-2013 through the Welsh Government.
