Learn new skills at Croeserw Community Enterprise Centre

A brand new programme of training courses has started at Croeserw Community Enterprise centre. The centre is a brand new, easily accessible, purpose built facility which opened in September 2013, which is part funded by the European Regional Development Fund through the Welsh Government. A variety of training courses begin the week commencing January 13th 2014 and will continue on a rolling programme throughout the year.

A range of courses including Hair and Beauty, Plastering, Bricklaying, IT for Beginners, Cookery, Ipads, General DIY, Digital Photography are available to help individuals to develop their skills and improve their chances of employment. The courses vary in length from 6 weeks to 30 weeks and all are one day per week.

Learners gain new skills and an accredited qualification from a variety of training providers including Adult Community Learning, Skills and Training Unit and NSA Afan. The courses are open to all skill levels and all ages from 16 up and are designed to be taster sessions in each subject that will hopefully encourage students to go on to further learning.

Supported by Communities First, these courses are a great opportunity to learn in your local community and meet new people in a relaxed, informal environment.
