Local business triples in size

Local business triples the size of its premises

On the back of a recent upturn in business, Low Cost Vans, the Neath-based national commercial vehicle provider, has tripled the size of its premises to keep up with growth.

The company has taken over a vacant sales site next to its existing offices. The new site will also triple the number of commercial vehicles it can keep in stock. The expansion could also create more jobs at the company.

Rod Lloyd, managing director of Low Cost Vans, said:

“Due to our recent expansion in business and in staff, we thought now would be the best time to expand the used vehicles sales site.

“With the current economic upturn, new businesses are starting to spring up. This has created a new market for quality new and used commercial vehicles. We love doing business with local companies and helping to put back into the community.”

Low Cost Vans recently increased its staff numbers with 10 new people, ranging in age from 18 to 55, joining various departments of the business.

Low Cost Vans has been established since 1997. It is one of the UK’s leading providers of van leasing and van contract hire for new commercial vehicles to SMEs, sole traders and private individuals.

Its finance products are provided through partnerships with the UK’s largest vehicle leasing companies including Network, LeasePlan Network; Lex Autolease, Arval and BNP Paribas.

In addition to having access to a wide range of cost effective funding and service solutions, its fleet buying power with major motor manufacturers means its customers can reap significant savings on brand new UK supplied vehicles with full manufacturer warranties.
